Introduction

JapaneseClas.jp is a free online Japanese Learning web application. JCJP web application can help you to enrich your Japanese vocabularies, and Kanji.

The concept of this web application is like playing a game. First the user has to learn the vocabulaies or kanji from the lesson page. On each level, there are several stages in form of chapters. Each chapter/stage has its own chapter test. The user has to complete the chapter test to complete the stage.

Practice & Chapter Test

You will earn EXP everytime you answer a correct question in the practices, and chapter tests. The EXP is used to measure your level and ranking.

By keep on doing the practices and chapter tests, this application can be one of the best way to memorize Japanese vocabularies, and Kanji.

Everytime you do each question in Random question practice, and chapter test, your correct and wrong answer will be recorded. The data can be seen in your statistics page, and the number of your correct answer and wrong answer is used to calculate your score. (to go to your statistics page, you can click your username on the top menu after you login

You will have 3 kinds of scores, kanji score, vocabulary score, and overall score. Each of them have percentage score and alphabetical grade. The alphabetical grade is depending on your percentage score:

100 = A+
95-99 = A
85-94 = B+
75-84 = B
65-74 = C+
55-64 = C
45-54 = D+
35-44 = D
< 34 = F

Leveling

Leveling in JCJP can be more challenging than you think. The speed of earning EXP is depending on your current Japanese skills. If your Japanese skill is high, then you have a higher chance to get combo bonus when you answer correctly in sequence.

You will earn more EXP points on higher level questions

Each time you get correct answers 10 combos, starts from 15th combo in a row, you will get different number of EXP combo bonus.

Combo Bonus System Table:
15 ≤ combo = 2 X EXP
25 ≤ combo = 3 X EXP
35 ≤ combo = 4 X EXP
45 ≤ combo = 5 X EXP
55 ≤ combo = 6 X EXP
65 ≤ combo = 7 X EXP
75 ≤ combo = 8 X EXP
85 ≤ combo = 9 X EXP
95 ≤ combo = 10 X EXP

The combo will reset back to 0 if you get wrong answer.

You will get Combo bonus only from Random Question Practice, not from Chapter Tests.

On the other hand, you have to look for answers if you are a beginner, which slows down your EXP earning. Even if you are earning EXP slowly, please do not worry, it helps you improve your Japanese skills in a new efficient way.

Combo bonus is limited to a maximum of 10 X EXP earing

Do not force yourself to take the Random Question Practice before you complete the Chapter Tests

Video Section

This section allows you to learn Japanese while having fun watching videos.

you can practice your listening, and enrich your vocabulary by learning them from the vocabulary list of each video. You can also take vocabulary test based on the vocabulary list.

If you can understand the video, you can contribute helping others to learn Japanese as well. To do so, you just need to help building the vocabulary list.

Photo Section

This section allows you to learn Japanese while having fun browsing photos.

If you can see any objects in the photo, you can contribute helping others to learn Japanese as well. To do so, you can tag a vocabulary to describe the object in the photo. (Please do not tag any small objects, blured, or writtings)

you can practice and enrich your vocabulary by learning them from the vocabulary list of each photo. You can also take Photo Practice based on the Tagged Photos.
