Japanese kimono style room wear is popular at Japanese crowd funding website

Taisho roman.
Have you ever heard of this word? Taisho roman means specific designs or cultures that were popular at Taisho era (1912-1926).
Even though, Taisho era was only 15 years short, it was such a turbulent period sandwiched between Meiji era and Showa era.
At Taisho era, Japnese culture was so much influenced by the Romanticism that was such a big boom in Europe.
First nude female model was born at this era as well.
Therefore we call it "Taisho roman" (Taisho + Romanticism).
At this time, people wore a half kimono, half western style clothing. That style is considered to be a symbol of Taisho era.
