Well, I simply love japanese language. It's sounds really awesome. My progress is going pretty well, but I have a habbit of doing thing only for few days. Some people suggested anime? Should I try? :)

Watashi wa otaku desu... I love anime even though Im too old for it. You have to be careful though because sometimes the fan subs dont get the translations just right. On the up side as you start learning you can start pointing out when there is an error and it feels kinda cool to be able to do that.

That's for damn sure!! You MUST try and inevitably become an aficionado, like most of us here ;)

Personally, it's because of anime that i fell in love with japanese and it's anime that keep my motivation on fire...

Thanks guys! My friends suggested some titles and I'm going to watch them when I'm not studying japanese. This website is really great and people are nice too. すごい ^^

dito but its hard when all the characters are now a decade younger than me lol I tend to try to pretend they are all in college and not grade school lol. I also listen to J-POP and J-Rock consistently to help out. Live action Japanese shows and movies can be difficult to watch especially if your more used to subdued American TV.

lol Kon lol Bleach is actually one of my least favorite animes not because of the story but because of its length its so many episodes now I cant catch up I stopped watching at episode 104 lol it would take me forever to catch up on that one lol.

I had the same problem with bleach and One Piece ^^, I didn't want to watch cuz I had waited too long for it and had like 500+ episodes to catch up for each of them :S

Yet, I started watching bleach about 5 months ago but I'm still not up to date (but I'm close now)
I think it's really worth watching though, it's so fun! ^^

The coolest part was when I went to an anime convention and was able to figure out the numbers on the back of the Bleach costumes... that was cool. Sorry about cluttering your comments Domen.

A quick question. Do I have to complete kanji lvl 1 to unlock vocabulary lvl 2? Or should I just cheat and change 1 in URL to 2. >:D

No actually, you can ignore kanji if you want... Your to-do tab for vocab will always point to the next chapter no matter the level ;)

Well, I had to be lvl 2 to do a test in vocabulary lvl 2. So I gained 4100xp through practice. This is really fun, I learnt so much today. :)

That's good ;) now the challenge is to remember it next month :P

Furthermore, make Japanese friends, exchange languages, and just have fun! :Db

Interpals is website, where you can create your profile and meet people around the world. There is somekind of a language exchange "system" on it too. For example you can help some japanese dude with his english and he will help you will your japanese. :)

lol wonderful, yes I am well trained now to add the / before emotions now lol. Sorry played one too many mmos in my day and will prolly start again when Guild Wars comes out. The only way I seem to be able to talk to people is online, Im too shy in person to make friends so I always resort to playing online games to have social contact.

No, you didn't say guild wars 2. This game will be the best mmorpg ever made. It comes out on 28th august!! All my friends will be playing it, except me, because I have to dedicate to japanese lang only. Unlike you, I can't do both.

I dont rly have time for an mmo either since Im working and will hopefully be in school in september but I will prolly get it just for that social aspect because the problem with us shy people is we are shy and dont talk to other people including other shy people /giggle. So you are really from Slovenia? What is it like there? Ive never been there but I have traveled quite a bit. Ive been to Germany, Austria, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Jamaica, Mexico, and Grand Cayman.

I just looked at google maps... Im American so Im geographically challenged lol. Looks like I was really close to Slovenia thats really cool. To bad I didnt get the chance to visit.

When you ask slovenian ppl what is Slovenia like, they will tell you that it's freakin unique, great and it has so many beautiful places and stuff. But if you ask me, it's just a really small country and there is nothing really special about it. Basically I think, we kinda got americanizated. There are bad and good results because of this. We are kinda losing our own culture, because we like USA things (movies, tv series, books etc), but because of that like 80% of young slovenian people speaks english. :)

If you travel nearbly again (Austria or Italy), visit me, I'm not that far away. :)

Yeah Im so stealing that word Amerianizated I love it and its so true. Its honestly sad because we dont rly like our own culture/politics most of the time but we feel powerless to change it... little known factoid about Americans lol.
