Question: Do many of ya'll have Rikichan? It is a program that lets you scroll over Japanese text, and identify its meaning. In my time here, it has been a lifesaver, and I strongly recommend it. (Btw: If you're a mac user, I believe there is a equivalent, but I am not aware.)

ありがとうございます。And for additional info, For Google Chrome users there is also Rikaikun.
I believe it's "Rikaichan" for Firefox, "Rikaikun" for Chrome, "Rikaisan" for Opera, and on a Mac you can enable the "Japanese-English" dictionary, then hover over a word and do Cmd+Ctrl+D, at which point it should perform the same / a similar function.
