How do you add items to the new vocabulary lists?
(I'm talking about the problematic and not translated vocabulary)
About the sentences, lately none of them show the related vocabulary marked. Is the highlighting system working?

ya, I forgot to check it back again... I'm really sorry for that. =(

I would like you to be a moderator for moderating vocabularies in Photos and Videos, but I have to make an extra small codes for moderator feature. So it may take some time before you can moderate them.

To add the problematic vocabulary you need to be logged in and go to the lesson page of the vocabulary list. in the lesson page, you can report the problematic vocabulary. and the report will go to the group page according to your JCJP language settings.

So, for example if you report from Spanish language settings, your report will goes to the Spanish group.

wow, I just realized that you are an old JCJP user... haha

ya, there used to be a feature like that, but I removed it.

I will re-implement that feature with a better interface etc. but ya, I'm enjoying Indonesia right now. So I cant really write big codes/modification for JCJP right now. I'm sorry :(

when I go back to Japan, I will start to work on it. =D

ya the uploader doesnt allow embedding. are you the uploader? if you are the uploader you can allow embedding.

but if you are not the uploader I will remove it.

Currently JCJP doesnt have delete video feature because there are still few videos in JCJP. I can only delete it manually by request. =D

so, do you want to delete it?

I think the link to the google translation is broken in the Tests popups.
Whenever I try to see the google trad, the buttons only changes color when my mouse pointer hovers over it, but when I click nothing changes.

Yes, currently I am the only one who is doing all of the technical part (coding, designing). but I got a lot of helps from JCJP users' feedback.

do you have any websites that I can see, to see how far is your knowledge of using PHP =D.

do you have any experience of using PHP framework? JCJP is using framework called CodeIgniter.

ya, this is one of the biggest problem that JCJP has for now.

I have tried to fix it, but this bug is difficult to fix, because it is dependent to external site which is facebook. and it happened randomly (I know it may happen when you are logged in to JCJP and Facebook. Then, on the next hour or the next visit, you are still logged in on JCJP but logged out from facebook, then this error may appear)

I believe that, there are many users that has difficulties on accessing JCJP due to this problem. Maybe that is why the number of access to this site is reducing.

This is really a big problem for JCJP =(

For now, to fix this problem, you need to clear your browser Cookies and Sessions.

I have done some fix for this, but I am still not sure if it fixes all the problem on this.

I too am sorry for my late reply but im here to tell you tha yeah its fixed ( hiragana practice). At first I was like what the heck cuz there were 2 romaji and none of them matched the hiragana and 2 katakana which I know nothing about but then i understanded. Now im giving more emphasis to katakana. Thx and more thanks for making this awesome page!!

Yo beeant! I'm coming up on your rank >=D eheh but I'm not here to gloat, I came across a problem which caused me to break my combo and lose my A+ on my vocab stats D': I was supposed to pick "To discount" and none of the options were it, so I had to guess, picking two wrong choices and it said the answer was まける. That's definitely not right, right? Makeru = 負ける = 'to be defeated', yes? And the answer should have been 割り引く.

Also, how come it says you're from Indonesia? I thought you were living in Japan at the moment. Or are you using a proxy?

I came across まける for 'to discount' again in the time challenge too, and I've also checked on tangorin.com, the only makeru they have is for 'defeat', however they do have an example sentence in which makerareru is used to mean 'to lower the price' e.g. "１０ドルにまけられますか。" = "Can you lower the price to ten dollars?"

Crap, hit send too soon. Anywho, as I've personally only seen makeru to mean defeated, maybe you can change the definition to be "to lower, to be defeated" that makes sense because then we know that まけられる is the intransitive form meaning 'to be lowered'.

I'm sorry for my late reply.
I'm currently on holiday in Indonesia. It's kind of difficult to get connected to the Internet in here.

Some Japanese words are confusing because it may have several different meaning. but if you think into a deeper meaning it can be similar. like discount and defeat, its kind of similar isn't it? metamorphically speaking...

I will be back to Japan in about a month, I may work on some big fixes or small fixes on JCJP depending on the internet condition in Indonesia :(
Hopefully it can be better.

Going through the kanji chapter tests i noticed that some kanjis i am learning in lvl2 were in the kanji practice when i still was lvl one (such as yama(Mount) and mura(Village))
Since i don't know if it is a bug or not, i'll just notice it to you, hoping that it'll help :)

i've not tried the practice in lvl2, but i did find it in the lvl1 practice and in the lvl2 lessons. I'll try to find time to test it in practice lvl2 today.

I found some translation error in the test of the kanji chapter 14 : sumimasu is translated as [kanji]Mimasu

hello, I have fixed that to be 住む, the dictionary does not have 住みます so it is not listed in the lesson.
住む is now listed in lesson and other ます forms in kanji sections are changed to dictionary form. There are some basic forms of verbs in Japanese. Unfortunately, I am still working on the grammar section.

Hello, i met something a little bit strange during the first kanji test of level two :
- some kanjis tested ar from the next kanji chapter (like otoko and onna), is it normal ?
- I met one or two strange traductions :for oneesan it was traduced as "cool", shouldn't it be "older/big sister" ?

Lol, that's so weird about the level thing, I'm not stupid, I know that even though you complete the level you have to have a minimum number of points, but honest to god, it said "114009 to 75001 to Level 5" for when I submitted my comment (and had been saying that I needed 75001 to get to level 5 for several days actually), and when you posted your comment it changed to "114009 to 115001 to Level 5", did you fix it?

Sorry, I'm just pointing that I so you don't think I'm stupid! :P Thanks for your time, and sympathize with you being busy, and I hate to bother you over trivial stuff. You kickass yo. :D

Hello again! Thank you for your quick response! This site is fantastic and I love that you guys are adding new tests and materials. I know you must be busy and I hate to bother you but I can't access the level 5 quizzes and lists. I've been a level 5 for a while now and whenever I click on anything level five it tells me my level isn't enough. I figured that there had been some sort of update and I couldn't access level 5 stuff until I'd completely finished level 4. Well, level 4 is all done and it stills says I can't use the level 5 materials. D: Sorry for the complaint, I was just wondering why that is. :)

Hello! I know you're busy now. Sorry. I just wanted to say that there's a very aggressive advertising in the practice page that makes practicing impossible (unless you block the ad).

It's below the textbox. It has an empty white frame with a button with the text "Dx". It seems to point to http://blueadvertise.com/

Without any user action you are transferred to:
http://www.findtsee.com/myport.php?ref=bgmgroup

That final page doesn't work for me. I only get stuck in an endless try to load something. I guess they receive a lot of visits that way (more than 100 times/minute).

is it still auto redirect without any action?
I put it in an IFRAME to prevent redirection. it seems fine in my comp using firefox or safari. I can do practice without any problem.
please tell me if you are still having this problem. I will just remove that ads.

Some ads don't cause problems, but after two or three questions, I'm still being redirected without any action in Firefox and also in Chrome.
