  Hello and welcome
  I've been using this site for almost two years now. The social aspect of the site is nice. I've learned of some really useful study resources from other users on here.
  The exp. system is really good for motivation, trying to be a top user for daily, monthly, and all-time rankings. The only downside is that the vocabulary practice list is a bit short if you are studying seriously, like at the JLPT N1 level.

  Thanks for commenting. ^_^ I did notice that, but I noticed it in practice. I'm still not fermilier with the site, or language but the pratice is guess work for me in some places. (Like the Kanji for example.) Guess I'll have to learn to read Japanese. :P

  Ah yeah I used a Japanese-English dictionary as a crutch when I first started doing the practice problems. Sometimes I still have to double check a reading occasionally for very uncommon words.
  
  If you're in it for the long haul, like becoming fully fluent and wanting to read books or newspapers in Japanese, I would suggest trying a book called Remembering the Kanji by Heisig.
