Hey, so I have decided to stay here and learn Japanese, but I am new to Japanese and I know saying this will probably make me sound stupid but I need a reliable answer. What exactly does ようこそ translate to? I think that it is "Welcome" but like I said, I am SUPER new to Japanese. Thanks for the help and please don't think that I am stupid.

Yeah it means " Welcome ", if you're absolutely new to japanese you should start with hiragana, in lessons, it's usually the first step into learning the language, good luck! ヾ(・ω・*)ノ
