Don't know about you guys but I'd prefer rank 1.
Just saying.- Rank 1 in the EXP, eh? I've stopped aiming for that. I prefer the ranking on the challenge part because it is more faster to achieve.
- I don't believe I'll ever reach rank 1, but that doesn't stop me!
@shairn: I've checked your profile and know that you've joined since May 2012. Now, you rank 10th. I can't believe this. You advance so fast. The 1st rank guy join this site since 2009. So, keep trying, I think you will soon take 1st rank.- nah. for me it's too impractical but whatever.
- It may look like it since my rank is so close, but Medyrius actually has more than 4 times my score and is still climbing.

- Interestingly, I'm in IT right now myself. I'm switching to natural sciences though, so I guess I don't count :p
Im rank 1241 but I dont mind cause I care about learning the language and less about where I stand in the scoreboards /giggle. Ill hit rank 2 someday ;) Rank 1 obviously belongs to Medyrioussenpai haha- Don't get me wrong, I value learning above all. The points are a nice distraction and incentive though ;)
悪魔の番号かな- I personally don't see the point in achieving first place points when it comes to EXP. However, in challenge mode your knowledge and your speed in reading Japanese words will be determined by your win/lose/draw stats.
But the other determining factor would the speed of your internet. If you experience challenge mode's loading of entries slow then you might want to skip the challenge feature and get it over with. 
In JCJP, rank 1 belongs to the on who wants it the most... The thing is, there's an average max exp points that a user can reach, so rank 1 here is kind of a turn-based throne between the users that can reach that... it's just a matter of time and rate.
I agree with zeto that challenge top1 is worthier than exp top1 but as you said, internet speed makes it unequal for anyone to aim for it.
how about lv5 rank 555 and 55555Points?
will be possible soon- aexme, I'm sorry to tell you but if rank 554 (yahiala14) remains inactive, you'll already be rank 554 when you have 55555 exp ^^

Don't forget to take a screen when it happens. It'll be even greater with a 55 combo counter ;) - nah, till i get a 55 combo i'll be lv6 or something :(
