I just started learning japanese, Hiragana is no problem... But I dont know what to do now... should I start learning words or Katakana? Are there any good sites where I can practice reading without Kanji symbols?

I fon't really know how it works, but you can preview childrens books before buying them in this website

Yes, you should learn Katakana now. It is used for many foreign words (generally English ones) in Japanese.

Some katakana words you can get from Minna no Nihongo book, part 1/2. Also you can do it's practise exersises (all on Hiragana/Katakana).

I'd say you should practice both. As Katakana is essential to know in order to understand many words in Japanese, and so are the words themselves. I recommend you to learn the kana through both flashcard type games and through words.

My favorite site ever (when it comes to japanese grammar, at least :P) Is tae kims guide. It covers many words, and has kanji with furigana (kana shows when you hover over the kanji).

Rikai-chan is also a great tool in general. It injects furigana to all the kanjis in your browser. This is for firefox, though, but I think the chrome version is called rikai-kun (maybe).
