Can someone make a thread on the forum explaining each "Learn" option and how/what to do? Like Practice, Lessons, Readings, etc. It would benefit any new members and help people understand what each one means and how to properly use it.

thank you for mentioning this NinjaNick!, I will try to implement a wiki feature soon. So in the wiki section all users can contribute in making documentation on how to use JCJP. Writing them will surely takes so much time if I have to do them all... >.<

I'd rather to use my time to write codes, optimizing server, and more technical stuffs than to write texts.. ꒰•̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ ﹏ •̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥๑꒱

What do you think about wiki feature ?

another idea is to add senpai kouhai feature, so everytime a new user signed up, they will be asked if they need help from senpai, and then the system will automatically find a senpai. and a private chat window will be opened.

each user will have a kouhai list on his profile statistics page

what do you think about this?

I like the wiki idea and you wouldn't have to write much since the growing community could do most of the work. As for the other idea it's good too, if let's say someone is tired of studying and wants to take a break they could help new users with any questions they may have, and you could let the user make a choice if the mentor was helpful they could get EXP, but of the mentor didn't help with what they wanted they get nothing! >:)

@beeant I think the wiki feature is a great idea, but the wiki features should be separate for each area. For example, Lessons should have its own Lessons wiki, Practice area should have its own Practice wiki, etc. Also, senpai kouhai sounds good, too.

I am glad to contribute to the readings section...I have had a lot of thoughts about sharing with others how I use it. For example: The readings section will take your vocabulary studies to the next level. You don't have to have awesome grammar skills to benefit. It will help to have studied or also work on grammar at the same time. Using a website like jisho.org at the same time that you are reading the text will help you fish out the best definition as the automatic one is not always correct...context wise. In a wiki, I can go into more depth of my tips. Sounds great!
