- The only part of the site that shows romaji appears to be on the hiragana and katakana page, I assume that this is what you were referring to? I think it's good to have the romaji for that part so that you understand how it is pronounced. The rest of the site is all kanji and kana only.May 9, 2014 at 10:46am
- hey, i am well past the point of learning it and just sometimes want to practice katakana because you do not get to use it much and it gets rusty. i was wondering if there was an easy quick way to switch off romaji. リプライありがとうございますMay 9, 2014 at 10:51am
- Might I also suggest this site http://www.csus.edu/indiv/s/sheaa/projects/genki/katakana-timer.htmlMay 9, 2014 at 11:03am

- hello babaleh! welcome to JapaneseClass.jp! :)
as for romaji, it will be automatically turned off after you passed level 1. However romaji there is no settings to turn romaji off for Hiragana & Katakana section. Should we have this settings?May 9, 2014 at 4:42pm - hey, thanks for the reply. really appreciate the website. as for switching off romaji in kana section, it is not crucial, yet it would be nice to have it the same way you can switch off kana for practice sections. i like converting from hiragana to katakana and vice versa, but seeing romaji with my peripheral vision gives out the answer right awayMay 9, 2014 at 4:46pm
- thanks for your appreciation :)
So I assume users who want to turn off romaji in Hiragana & Katakana practice would be users who already either learned Hiragana or Katakana.
How about automatically switch off romaji once user has already complete either hiragana or katakana practice?May 9, 2014 at 4:50pm - Sounds perfectMay 9, 2014 at 4:58pm
