    you can learn the readings in kanji lesson. I assume that you know Hiragana already?

    So yes, please check out kanji lessons, and learn the readings. Kanji readings can be complicated. You need to understand kunyomi and onyomi too. I did some Googling, and I found this http://japanesestudynow.com/?p=2076

    Before I looked at Heisig's Remembering the Kanji, the kanji was very difficult on this site. Once you start recognizing the radicals, you can differentiate them much easier, and it becomes less of a pure memory test. I advise studying with an alternate method of kanji study at the same time as this site. (Anki, RTK, I'm sure other members have other apps too)
