3かい is correct. I am Japanese. lol I've just signed up and logged in, and played the first practice. The sounds of Hiragana are totally different. It's a machine voice. You shouldn't learn them with sounds. I think this concept is really good, but the resources are mistaken.

Hi, welcome to JapaneseClass.jp, thank you for your confirmation.
Indeed there are some mistakes in the question database. I'm really sorry for this.
I'm currently a solo developer working on this site, so I need help to do several tasks such as validating the question database.

Other than that, Japanese is a complex language, so I think it's difficult and takes a lot of effort to make it accurately correct. For example, in 3 gai and 3 kai, 3 kai might sound more natural. However, in a real formal Japanese classes, at least the class that I took, the difference in 1 kai, 2 kai, and 3 gai is emphasised. However, after living in Japan for quite a while, I started to feel that 3 kai sounds natural...

as you are the first Japanese who signed up and logged in to JapaneseClass.jp, (at least a user who posted some messages) would you be interested to be our instructor, whenever we have question about Japan or Japanese?

Are you hiring a instructor? lol Are you Japanese?

No, I'm living in Japan, but I'm not Japanese.
I just left my day job 2 months ago to focus on my projects, especially JapaneseClass.jp. And I'm living off savings right now. So as for hiring, it would be difficult to pay the hours, at least for now.

I have some Japanese friends who can help me. However, I want them to be naturally interested in JapaneseClass.jp, so I don't ask them to sign up or have a try. You seem to have interest in JapaneseClass.jp. If you are really interested, we can meet sometime.

While 3かい is not incorrect, 3がい is a proper reading as per rendaku (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rendaku). Being a person who also lives in Japan, I can tell you the 3がい pronunciation is frequently used on elevators in my area.
