can someone explain in the kanji tests what are you supposed to do. Like what do choices mean. Are they the pronunciations in hiragana. I dont know

The kanji tests are multiple choice, they're are the pronunciation in hiragana, sometimes you'll find the kanji with a combination, so pay attention to the examples. Hope it helps ^^;
Also each kanji can have multiple readings, depending on it's place and meaning in relation to anything else in the sentence. Which is why you will see different reading of the same kanji.
