I can't begin to tell you how useful a patient native helps. While you can learn all the grammar and vocabs you want to perfect accuracy, you will need to use it. My advice it have a Japanese teacher, or a Japanese girlfriend/boyfriend. Japanese friends IMO don't have the same patience.
Yes, practicing with a native speaker, who can correct you all the time, would be ideal for speaking, mastering reading and listening comprehention is possible with regular practice here (reading) and Japanese 101 for listening
