Hello~
I'm new here and I just found this site two days ago.
I would like to get some advice on how I could learn more efficiently.
Oh and I can already read and write hiragana and katakana so I would like some advice on the kanji and the vocabulary. I seem to have a hard time for the two. I don't know on where to start.
Should I start learning kanji first or the vocabulary?

I think you should alternate - when you learn both at once I think they reinforce each other.
Just start at lesson 1 and keep reviewing- you'll get it eventually!
It helps to make sentences using new vocab, too.
^exactly. it's a fair mix of both.
for vocabulary, i would highly recommend watching japanese shows/anime/movies (i can recommend some if you'd like) or listening to japanese music. just hearing the language and getting familiar with frequently used phrases/vocab will help memorising words a LOT.
for kanji, writing (by hand), doing the attendance here, making sentences, flashcards. it's the type of studying you most probably don't want to do, but you're gonna have to. :L however, there is one way which you may like—reading japanese texts. start out with children's books, work up to the more complex/interesting ones. :) eventually, read things like articles, manga (in japanese), etc. perhaps watching movies in a language you don't know (french/spanish/portugeuse/indian) with japanese subtitles?
do little things too. change your phone language to japanese, play games in japanese, everytime you say small things, repeat them in your head in japanese. :)- sorry for the essay but i just don't think you should study japanese out of a textbook only. there are so many better ways to learn it. :)

I'll try reading books like you said. And I'm already very much watching a lot of anime and listening to music. So I guess doing that helps. I didn't think of it that way.
