I studied the radicals a while back, although it personally didn't help me much. It might for you, though- my method was probably a little faulty anyway. I haven't really used the knowledge very much; not consciously, at least.
There is some correlation between radicals and their general meaning; for example, the "氵" radical almost always seems to have a meaning related to water (since it's the side-water radical). So it could help, if you learn the right way and they teach you well. I'd say maybe keep doing the radicals, and learning some basic kanji as you go? For pacing?

I'm not an expert, really quite amateur, this is just what I've picked up. Also- welcome to the site. =]

I haven't studied all radicals yet, but I made a list with the most frequent ones which I've encountered while studying kanji - and it really does help sometimes.
As twelveticks said, the water radical is almost always helpful, but others like 忄-heart and 扌-hand are pretty helpful, too.
So yes, I guess learning the radicals might help you a lot! There are many kanji where you can deduce the meaning, or at least remember it better with the help of radicals :)

    Thank you both for replying!
I' am happy to continue learning the radicals (Already learned like 15 of those) and it might really help me, because I used to learn Kanji right the beginneing and I quited it because I hadn't had comfortable websites and sources to learn from, but now I am learning the radicals from here:

And I hope in the future I would learn kanji easier and better.
