If you ever plan on moving to the countryside of Japan, keep in mind that during summer time it will straight up sound like Jurassic Park outside your window. My friends keep telling me they are just beetles, but, I am like 98% certain their is a Velociraptor chillin outside my window and they don't want to spook me.

So true. Even when heading to some of the larger parks in the city I still dodge the big bugs. Got to love summer here though.
One thing I noticed about being in the countryside is the lack of birds during the summer. Maybe it was just my luck.. idk, but yeah nature sounded like an imperial insect march. Damn Cicadas.. wai you no have beautiful Disney songbird-like voices (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻
