I have a question for everyone here.... Does this website teach you only words and phrases or does it actually show you how to put the words together to to a sentance communicate with people?

not from scratch but there are example sentences for words and obviously the community of users to ask if you get stuck but it helps to have learned some basic grammar before hand.
