So I've been playing with Rosetta Stone for the past 30 minutes. I never cared for it, but have been trying to add more variety to my studies, and thought I would give it another shot. Anyway,
it is trying to feed me these 彼ら ・ 彼女 pronoun looking things. I am not going to doubt it, but I have never came across any sort of pronouns as it is generally all implied. Are these commonly used, or whats going on here?

Yes, of course they are used. There are occasions when the topic has not been established yet, so it cannot be implied.

Yeah, 彼 and 彼女 are pretty useful, thought Rosetta Stone will pretty much result in a dead end at one point or another.

If you are after grammar, take a look at www.imabi.net.It is pretty good with plenty of examples for each grammar topic.

Ehh, I mainly use it as a vocabulary builder. While I liked this site in the beginning, I have found I hardly retain whatever information I learn, while I do come sometimes across neat new words, I have to study them on paper or I don't keep them (which is the same with everything.) Thanks ya'll.
