Hi everyone! I'm new to the site, I signed up a few months back but never got to learning. I'm pretty bad at learning new languages (especially when I have to memorize different characters), so would anyone be so kind to give me any tips on where I should start?

Start with learning hiragana, then build on that. No need to rush through it. :3 Just take your time and learn at your own pace.
I started by writing hiragana down in a book i keep with me during the day and study them when i get free time i agree starting with hiragana is best
For me, I'm actually doing the first lesson starting out. Then I write little haiku in order to remember how to sound out specific kanji. It's a slow process though. Maybe that might help.
