I know what you mean... it's really hard to stay motivated when you don't have anyone to talk Japanese with :(

Lol, I been absent for a few years.

I wish that I hadn't put this on the back burner.

lol yeah i was absent for at lest 2 years because i lost interest and then internet. i have been off/on for about 6 years now.
what i really need to do is either get formal classes i cant afford or get into my old study habits when i first started...
this site alone isn't enough, and it gets boring.
its a good way to test yourself though.
i did get my self on here for about a week recently i made my self gain at lest 1000xp after watching at lest 2 episodes of anime. and it worked until it ended.. lol
maybe i need to find a new anime i like.

without anyone to talk too in Japanese i really have no idea how i been doing. and it is hard ot stay motivated without...

Lol, yeah, trying to learn this without a formal class is a brave struggle. I don't have the ability to take a formal class on this either. I have been toying with the idea of making a Japanese channel on my TeamSpeak3 server, but I don't have time to administrate that.

My current goal is to log in at least once a day and get "Attendance" by answering 20 questions. Anything is better than nothing. Typically I try to practice about 5000 points a day if I can, but minimum goal is the Attendance Mark on my record.

yeah at lest when i reviewed everything after being away for so long i didn't forget much. so I'm retaining most of it i just need to keep on it, like it is a class.
That sounds like a nice idea, your choice though. i use TS3 practically every day when i talk to/play with my gamer friends.
although i probably should do less gaming and more studying.. lol
and i should spend that much time on it 1000 points isn't really much effort.

Effort is effort. Positive direction :D

I found that I remembered a ton of stuff after years of downtime, it really surprised me. This site is really effective.
