Could someone correct this for me?
I'm trying to translate a song to japanese, for practice.
This is what I am not sure if I got right:

この世界で死ぬの憂鬱とバカな意味がなしで生きる

I meant to write"the melancholy of dying in this world and living without any stupid reason"
(may sound depressing, but it's actually from a very upbeat song)
I'd appreciate it if you could explain what is wrong and why, and if there is a better way to say this.
Thanks!

Did you , by any chance, use google translate for that?
Because google translate can't be trusted at all, and it gives the very exact same thing you wrote.
Either way, what would be the proper way to say it, then?
    Thanks.
