Hello guys im new here and new to japanese. what is the best way to learn hiragana/katakana ? i mean i know hiragana but to read something in it i need to think a lot. where can i find some texts only in hiragana to practice reading ? :P

I used a phone app that quizzed the Kana. I still use it for refreshing my memory. I had Hiragana memorized in a day or two. Lots of Apple and Android apps out there that are free, and quiz you on Kana.
Just write them down several times until you remember them, you can do it in a few days. If you think this is hard, don't take a look at Kanji, I'm about to jump off a bridge...- Also dont waste money on books, there's kana tables for free any where get a free cellphone app
