Does anyone have some tips on learning kanji i am fairly new to learning Japanese and i am having a really hard time with kanji

start with Hiragana & Katakana then when you get good at that start to learn easy kanji use app on cell phone if you dont have onelookup on the web you can find meny help full websites and kepp practicing it wil taa vry long time to learn kanji ther is over 4000+ kanji in Japanese also you should learn the Chinese meaning of the kanji
the way the kanji looks can offer insight on the meaning
The origin of a special kanji is very interesting. Like why looks 手 like a hand or kawa or yama... search for a book that shows how the symbols developed over thousand years. Sounds more complicated than it is :)
