First of all, I think this site and its community rocks! To self-taught people around here, what other resources do you use for learning Japanese by yourselves? Would you recommend using also a grammar book or a textbook maybe? In my case, I use this site just for refreshing kanji and vocabulary and, sometimes taking notes of them. I would highly suggest guidetojapanese.org. Kim-sensei does a really good job at explaining and teaching Japanese
The above website is fantastic for learning grammar, also renshuu.org is also good. For anything else, variety is available.
I used the Human Japanese app on the google playstore... Recommend hugely- I highly recomment the human japanese app on the google play store
- The above app is also available for IOS. I didn't find it that great, but those who are looking for it that have an Apple device can get it, too.

By the way, for learn and remember kanji and vocabulary do you use flashcards?
