- Idk if this would help but I try to write the new words down as much as possible when i learn and apply them into a story to help me memorize it better. I also find myself memorizing the kanjis learnt from song lyrics better than the ones taught in classMay 1, 2015 at 9:09pm
- Also read a lot and everyday. You wont remember it right away but after you move on and come back to it months later, you'd be surprised at how much you managed to learn by just reading themMay 1, 2015 at 9:12pm
- I usually read and say the onyomi and kunyomi while looking at the kanji and English meaning.May 1, 2015 at 9:13pm
- But I haven't tried a technique I learned on YouTube, which is writing a story for the kanji to remember it. Like how 木 looks like a tree with roots. in which 木 means tree.May 1, 2015 at 9:17pm
- i tried that method before! Since we have a similar system of writing in our language so it makes it easier to learn like that, though the more kanji i learnt, the more things i need to remember and for some complicated kanji that originated by another kanji within it, that method became impossible because there're too much to learn all at once.May 1, 2015 at 9:45pm
- arigatoo gozaimas everyone, my problem only in kanji. If hiragana and katakana still ok because i used it to write it everydayMay 1, 2015 at 10:45pm
- The only way to remember kanji, repetition and making it somewhat interesting and fun, a lot of people add stories to kanji too. But if you don't keep remembering them or using them, you'll soon forget themMay 3, 2015 at 10:34am
