- You're welcome, its what I'm using now an seems to be working well. Once you've got it get the lesson ' basic hiragana 1' seems to be the most simplest to learn hiragana :DMay 16, 2015 at 1:54am

- I personally started with hiragana & I basically just wrote each hiragana symbol along with its pronunciation. This method helped me to memorize it very quickly. Once I mastered that, I moved on to katakana. Once you know how to read Japanese, learning the language becomes simpler.May 16, 2015 at 3:04pm
- i agree, although ive been finding it pretty hard learning the speaking side of things due to not knowing anyoneelse who learns near me, however there are loads of online ways of doing itMay 16, 2015 at 9:14pm
- Thank you so much guys! I'm learning hiragana right now. I also use the app recommended by chantelle. :)May 16, 2015 at 9:53pm
- yeah, hiragana then katakana tables. Basic expressions, general vocabulary like colors, walking, running, speaking, listening, writing, reading, up, down, left right, animal names, things like that really helped me to go through the easy stuff first to get the ball rolling. ^_^May 19, 2015 at 8:59am
