- Yeah,,, learning kanji is a little bit hard,,, but actually for me it's very hard so I think you should dedicate your whole life in learning it. LOL XD .. hope my funny advice helps..May 15, 2015 at 11:58pm
- Try making a story to go with the kanji (a.k.a mnemonic). It really helps me a lot, even if you can't think of some mnemonics you can always search for whole lists other people have thought of already.
Also, make sure to take your time and don't rush. When I rush, things don't stick in my long term memory and I end up not wanting to go back to practice.
Hope that helps!May 16, 2015 at 12:03am - I try and use it in a sentence and practice writing it. a sentence for each reading/pronounciationMay 16, 2015 at 12:33am
- Uhhhh my tips would be that the only way you're going to learn something, is if you use it. It'd be easier to create a log of every kanji you learned on a notepad, writing it down along with its meaning and maybe a sentence, then all you need to do is revise the kanji you learn and write them out again every couple days or so. Because f you don't use the kanji, you will NEVER master itMay 16, 2015 at 6:55pm

- I use Anki. Also, the more vocabulary I learn, the more I know which onyomi and kunyomi go with the kanji. Writing Kanji can also help in retention.May 19, 2015 at 8:56am
