Found in level 1: chapter 8.
Voice said it's うち and that's what I have learned in Japanese classes. Only いえ I know is no (and that one is with double え). Is there error, or is that other word for home?

This is correct, house can be pronounced うち or いえ (or kanji in other words can be pronounced か

Ops! With dowble い, not double え. And another question; is that kanji right if the meaning is home?

    Haha, double ops! dowble = double ( ´ ▽ ` )"

    Thank you rowls666 (*^▽^*)

To add on to rowls' explanation, when 家 is said "ka", it means someone who works as something. For example, a 漫画家 or まんがか is someone who draws manga.

Thanks Arachkid for kanji clarification (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧
