  Kanji are just like anything else practice makes perfect ;)
  
  As for the input on windows you can go to control panel -> clock, language and region -> keyboards and languages tab -> change keyboards -> general -> add -> Japanese IME.

  If you're using windows: Go to Control Panel>Region and Languange>Choose Keyboard and Languange Tab>Change Keyboards
  In General Tab Klik Add.. and then Pull down the scroll until you See "Japanese (Japan)" Select "Microsoft IME" and "Ink Correction" After you've done it, then on the lower screen "Windows bar" You'll see EN (Next to task bar" click it and now you have new input JP. To start writing select the A next to a red dots and then select hiragana (For me its easier this way) and start writing... 出来そう？
