I am pretty sure there is another way of saying what do you think about math that is better suited but I can't think of it.
feel free to correct any of my mistakes.

I would put が instead of は before 面倒くさい for emphasis. I'm not sure if you're being deliberately casual or not. If you're not, it's じゃあ. 「数学*は*どう?」I think 「数学はどう思うの/思いますか。」is better.

good point about が also I was trying to be a little casual.
thanks for reminding me about 思いますか for some reason it slipped my mind completely.
    I should review my grammar.
there is a few words in your response that I do not know, so as to avoid making a fool of myself could please tell exactly what is says in your responce Koukyoshi.

"Compared to other subjects, I think math is easy. The reason why I think that is because there's usually only one answer. If you understand the method of what you're learning, there's no problem you can't solve!"

thanks for clearing that up because, honestly, I only really understood this 「僕からしたら、数学は他の教科よりすごく易しいと思いますよ。」 and this part 「それとコツが分かれば」now that you explained it in englsh I can see why it means what it does。 everything else kind of confused me a bit.

I hope that came out right not sure if there is a better suited word for this, other than ときどき or if I am overthinking it.

Google search confirmed my though that it means according to me.
So is the からしたら used as according to me with 僕 私 and によると(what I have known up until now) is used to cite other's - according to someone who is not me?
What would be a literal translation of this construction of から and たら conditional?
  • Koukyoshi
@sloth90: But you did great understanding a little bit of what I wrote. To be honest, though, I feel like the better my Japanese has gotten, the worse my translating into English has gotten, lol. And you're right! ときどき is fine to use in that situation!

@Ineedaname: As you said によると is used as according to. 天気予報によると - according to the weather. からしたら cannot used be in this type of context. Although there are other applications, I've used it to mean from X's point of view. アメリカ人からすると - from an American's point of view. So 僕からしたら would be from my viewpoint.

@Koukyoshi Now I understand, thank you very much for the explanation.
