Are any of you all learning kanji from memrise? If so, what is the best course? I'm starting to learn from this one:( http://www.memrise.com/course/141583/2136-joyo-kanji-by-grade/ ), but it only teaches you the english meaning, not the readings or stroke order. Would you recommend skipping readings and stroke order or trying a different memrise course? thx.

I would only worry about stroke order if you plan to be writing. I am also on a hunt for a decent memrise Kanji course so I hope someone else answers.

I'm using 2136 Joyo Kanji by Grade.

I like it. I believe I'm on 5th grade kanji now.....

Oh, and I also use jisho.org

It has the readings and stroke order of the kanji.

Just put in the English meaning, or copy and paste the kanji into the search box, and then type #kanji

It directs you to that kanji with meanings, readings, stroke order, word that use it etc

I think this site is better for learning kanji http://unckel.de/kanjirepeater/
i took a course in memrise but sometimes it takes too long and very hard to repeat
