Does anyone know the difference between wa(わ) and ha(は) when used in a sentence? :o I see in greetings a lot that Watashi wa (name) desu is written as わたしは__です. But i'm confused that わ is written as は in the sentence.. Why is it written that way?

ha is ha, and wa is wa, but,は is pronounced like わ after the "person" in the sentence... i guess is a gramatical rule

わ alone is not a grammatical particle, but は (subject particle) is, and it is pronounced wa. これは kore "wa", 今日は konnichi "wa", etc... Cheers :)
