I'm working on making this website to be as good as possible for you to learn Japanese. As for now, please try it for yourself. If you are a complete beginner, you can start from Hiragana & Katakana (Japanese alphabets) in the lessons page.
I really love this page! it's very helpful to memorize kanji as well :)
It's a good website, actually I joined last night and i'm already memorizing romaji phrases
It;s really good for vocabulary, except for practice mode, because words you haven't learned yet will show up.
This site is a good tool for learning/reviewing vocabulary. You will not learn how to conjugate verbs or grammar rules however. So getting a good japanese grammer book is recommend.

It can help, certainly. There is not (yet) one particular website that could help you learn Japanese all on its own, even the pay ones. Be prepared to visit multiple sites.
