If I can read Yahoo Answers Japan (Chiebukuro) with very little assistance, what reading level would that be? Intermediate? Advanced?

I'm kind of wondering where I can go (online or irl) to accurately measure my skill level with Japanese language.

Any JLPT website in any country should have free test questions. I passed Levels 3-5. Levels 1 and 2 were too difficult for me though.

Yes, the JLPT tests are the standard way to measure your skill. For listening, you can just type in N4, N3, N2, N1 choukai/listening into YT and try it out (you don't need to be getting 100% or anything). For reading, grammar, and vocab.... download a mock test from somewhere.
Language is pretty vast, so a few questions won't measure much. Try seriously doing the mock tests/practice tests to check your level. (When it comes to N2/N1 reading, it's okay if you don't understand a lot of it, it's about getting the gist and searching for keywords)

How long have all 3 of you been studying?

I learned kana around 2002 maybe. In 2010 I began studying kanji, grammar and vocabulary. So I guess I've been interested in the language for 15 years, but I've actually been studying for the past 5.

But I'll try the JLPT practice material. Thanks.
