  yes, I will add that private message feature, but I think I talked about it somewhere that I will implement it after there are enough posts posted on the social feeds and forum. As for now, let's wait for that :)
  
  I worry that users might stop social-interacting in the social feeds, once the private message feature is implemented.

  Oh. That makes sense. But, Direct Messages (DMs) or private messages are between two users, while regular messages are for everyone to read and reply. I believe that JCJP users will still post more messages on the Social Feeds page versus the private message feature.

  yes that makes sense too. As for now, I want to see JCJP community to be more active. So without the private message, I'm expecting users to post on the other user's feeds. As the post will be shown on the social feeds, anyone can join to have some discussion.
  
  There are 7575 feed posts and 1388 threads in the forum at the moment. I think I would implement the DM feature after we have more than 10,000 feeds post.

  The inherent problem there is that if I want to share some private information with another user, without having everyone on this board have access to it, there is no way to do that. Be it an email address, information about my address or job, it just isn't something I'd feel comfortable giving everyone.

  Yes I see that is a problem.. >.<
  Actually waiting for 10,000 feeds is partly (50%) an excuse for me haha. because it takes time to write the codes, and I want it to be done well. Right now, I'm focusing on the new SRS system. So it's 50% an excuse and 50% reality. Sorry..
