Do you think I'll be able to write Hiragana and Katakana? I want to know how long it takes you to learn both of them. :) Thank you. I'm so excited!

I actually just finished memorizing Hiragana! I think excluding the few weeks I was too busy with school to practice, it took me a few weeks. It was mostly because my memory is horrible so it takes me awhile to get it into my brain.
I had to learn it in college. She gave us a week to learn the hiragana...I learned it. It still took a while for me to be able to read it quickly. Flash card apps, or SRS is going to be the best for learning them. Writing them helps you remember. Katakana took a bit longer, because they all look the same to me. However, this site helps me with getting a chance to read katakana more often.
It takes a day or two to learn and memorize both of them, and ~2 weeks to read it quickly in sentences!
