I'm new to japanese, im learning from scratch. i was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers to learning the language. when i say im new i really am, i dont know anything other then a few simple words, so anything will help. thank you!!! ^^ :)

I recommend you the Youtube channel of Rachel and Jun, there is a video about how to learn japanese on the internet for free. They list several websites ( and this is how I came here ).
if you can, get your hands on books like the minna no nihongo or genki series (you can find free pdf's online as well) i used them when i started in august (and still use them btw) they're very good for beginners especially
same i saw the video and it brought me to this site. i checked alot of them out and this one just seemed easier for me to understand and learn from @Daifuku- thanks so much i will certainly check them out :) @akaiio
