Hello, may I ask are there any native Japanese here or people that are planning to move to Japan, be it for working holiday, marriage or career wise? =]

I've always thought it would be enjoyable to work in Japan if I don't end up in Canada instead. I plan to be a Biomedical Engineer. I'd be scared to death for errors in my pronunciation, however. (accursed 'r' sounds!) For now I'm trying to gain an understanding of the language for the sake of being able to translate things for my friends. Still far off from where I am now. But yes, perhaps one day.
I want to leave my country as soon as I can. Japan would definitely be my first option :)
I am living in Japan right now. I live in a little town called Fujikawaguchiko (AKA base of Mt. Fuji).
Thanks for the replies guys! I am planning to move to Japan, Tokyo perhaps with my girlfriend who is a Japanese. Any advice ? That's why I am trying to learn Japanese as fast as possible as I will need to pass exams and find a job there...
