Could anyone suggest some good Japanese bands or artist? Vocaloid I know of, but I also like girl bands and rock bands. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated!

I think Kinoko Teikoku is about the best band around these days. Check out the albums Eureka and Fake World Wonderland.
My fave bands are D-OUT (Kouki has an awesomely unique voice & the guys are awesome ;) In Japanese the band's name is written dauto= ダウと, it's a visual-kei pop/rock band (they like playing with genres). The band I first fell in love with when I started learning Japanese! Btw you can check out their latest album from Spotify and find music videos from YouTube - very nice :)), LM.C (energetic pop-rock, love it), Alice Nine (rock), L'Arc En Ciel (rock, love it), T.M.Revolution (electro-pop?). Vocaloid songs are funny and the lyrics are sometimes very creepy (but I like the music even if I can't understand the lyrics) :)
SCANDAL is a girl rock/pop band whose songs have been anime openings/closing songs (Fullmetal Alchemist - shunkan sentimental??), they have a youtube-channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWybvl7t5Gx48jx8hfdaIVA?nohtml5=False

If you like girl bands, try Silent Siren. I've been listening to them a lot lately, I'm basically a fan at this point haha And as Acidron said, try SCANDAL as well.

- There's a variety of Japanese bands, but I mostly listen to underground artists (KOHH) and so on.
- But I reccomend (Nujabes) If your looking for that chill, soulfully artist that makes you unwind and think about the past, present, and probably your future, really laid back music he produced before he died unfortunately.
The GazettE, Stereopony, Scandal, One Ok Rock, Alice Nine, Yoko Kanno...- Also my favorite of all time is the song Obokuri By: Ikue Asazaki & Akira Takahashi.
X Japan, Luna Sea and Versailles are some of my personal favourite Japanese bands.
