Hello! I'm a novice to Japanese, no formal training unfortunately. Are there any other novices that would be interested in being "pen pals"? Like we could add each other on some messaging platform (Skype?) and just talk to each other using as much Japanese as we can. It could even be a group chat to get a group of novices together.
I know I could probably find a Japanese speaking pen pal, but I don't think my Japanese is at that level yet.

I would, but I haven't been able to get pass hiragana completely yet to where I remember every character and able to write every one.
