  Learn the meaning, kanji, and the reading. You can do it at your own pace you don't force yourself you do it whenever you want. If you force yourself you will quit. Just chill, watch anime, while learning kanji, you'll hear a lot of words you know and you'll be immersed which is good.

  so in other words you learn the meaning and kanji and the reading...I understand now am not force my self.....I was just wondering i am suppose to learn that for future reference....so when I do get to the point of learning vocabulary i know what i am suppose to do

  sorry I have one more question....which do you learn first after you learn hiragana and katakana....do you start with kanji or do you start learning vocabulary????or do you do both at the same time?????

  Once you are comfortable with hiragana and katakana I would start kanji sooner than later because you'll need to know it if you want to read anything ;)
  
  I learned kanji and then learned vocab that used the kanji that I was studying. It's going to be up to preference in the end and you can do whichever you feel more comfortable with. I liked learning the kanji first and then the vocab because I felt like learning the vocab helped solidify my knowledge of the kanji.
