Should I learn hiragana and katakana together or one by one?

    learn katakana first then hiragana katakana is not that preety as hiragana but is really important too once you will learn hiragana you will not want to learn katakana

    mmmm, I would recommend the other way around. You will find that the pronunciation of kanjis are written in hiragana, hence it should come first.
    Katana it's mostly used for words that are originated outside the Japanese culture, so you should find it easy to figure it out, and there should be few words to learn using katakana.
    Then again, I might be wrong, I'm only starting to learn :)

    I learned hiragana first and then katakana. Knowing hiragana helped me to understand katakana since there's lot of similarities. And I think hiragana is easier to learn because you will come more easily across with hiragana than katakana.
