Hey, does anyone of you know how to check japanese sentences if they are correct? I am often trying to make sentences with learned vocabulary as a practice. But I am using "Google Translator" as tool to check them. But I am quite unsure wether this is good. So can 1. Can someone please tell me if there is a way?
2. Can someone check these 2 Sentences?
"What meaning does my life have?
My sentence (translation to german is correct acc. to Google Translator) :
何その意味僕の生活?
Sentence from Translator from German to Japanese
私の人生の意味は何ですか?

Do these 2 have the same meaning or are they different?

Made a mistake. In the end of the first sentence is supposed to be a "ですか?" It didnt copy it.

Google translate is not an accurate tool to use. It is only somewhat useful when trying to translate single words (and even then, word reference is a much better choice), but when you start trying to translate complete sentences, it is just awful. The same goes for pretty much all other translating tools/apps, because,

    1. They are only capable of making direct, word-by-word translations, meaning that most language-exclusive grammar and sentence structure, unless extremely similar to the other language (such as between English and Spanish), gets messed up, and,
2.The variety of meanings and readings of kanji are often to complex for translating tools/apps to handle, making the translation even more inaccurate.

So, pretty much the only way to check sentences for accuracy is to either look into Japanese textbooks for reference, or to ask those who know their Japanese really well.

The first sentence that you posted is kind of a mess. The second sentence while better does not seem like something a Native Japanese person would say. In Japanese there are many different ways to say "life" depending on the context that you wish to portray. If it were me I would have said something along the lines of 僕の生命は意味がありますか。or "Does my life have meaning."
