if you're looking for grammar material online i would recommend first going through the grammar guide on textfugu.com (only the first chapter is free, but what you're learning there is a good introduction to the language itself). the guys from textfugu also set up a website for studying kanji and vocabulary on wanikani.com, the first 3 levels are on free trial and it kind of eases your way into learning kanji and vocab so that u become familiar with it. afterwards you can start actually learning the grammar, you can find a lot of free online material on that. personal favourites are tae kim's guide to japanese (guidetojapanese.org) where you can find a grammar guide as well as a complete guide (which includes phrases and vocabulary), as well as imabi.net which offers grammar lessons from absolute beginner level up to absolute advanced level (and classical japanese, if you're interested in that). both tae kim's grammar guide and imabi teach you vocabulary in every lesson but if you really want to do some vocabulary building as well as learn kanji past the last free level on wanikani this website here is your best way to go. ~ hope that helped, if you have any more questions i'm happy to answer them. have a nice day (or night, depending on where you live) ^_^
