    The use of の as a question marker is very feminine. Unless that is how you want to sound I would suggest you not use it.

    Ending a statement with の is definitely feminine, not necessarily asking a question with it. Actual question in spoken Japanese are generally spoken with a rising intonation at the end, in casual writing only you can represent this with a question mark. So I would rewrite that phrase to be "どこに住んでる?"
