hey. im new here! :) I hve a question. what are the difference between the two japanese words (top and bottom) in the vocab lesson.?

    You mean why is 学生 on top and why is がくせい at the bottom? The top one is the reading in kanji and the bottom one is written in hiragana to make it easier to learn the reading since you probably don't know how that combination of kanji is read.
