How do people learn kanji? I'm trying to learn kanji now, but so far all the kanji have multiple meaning, so making it really hard to memorize.. can anyone give some pointer?

Don't worry about their multiple meanings for now. Learn them as part of a word, for example, instead of learning 前 by itself, I learned that 午前 (ごぜん) means "morning" and 名前 (なまえ) means "name." This way, later on, the individual readings for a kanji will have context and meaning and be less overwhelming. You can always come back and flesh out your knowledge of a kanji later on.
