How would you learn to speak Japanese? As in do you amass a lot of knowledge and dive into a conversation?
Does this site include all the joyo kanji or only a couple?

I learn to speak by practicing conversations in my head and sometimes I practice with online friends who are learning Japanese as well, through skype.
Idk how many kanji this site includes. But it's more than "only a couple".
Practice grammar , kanji, and vocabulary daily. Meanwhile, apps like HiNative allow you to practice conversing. This is important if you want to be fluent. Learn, and apply.
